Architectural Treasure
Each year, the Connecticut Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA CT) celebrates architectural treasures in each of the State’s eight counties. It’s a competition (of sorts) that celebrates CT’s rich architectural heritage. The program focuses on a different building type each year, and this year, the program is focusing on museums. The Ukrainian Museum and Library of Stamford has been nominated for Fairfield County. The purpose of this program is to expand the general public’s awareness of architecture and its impact on culture, community, and the built environment.
